Early Years Book Character Day

The KG and Reception children participated
in Book Week on Wednesday by coming to school dressed as characters from their
favourite books.
The children were encouraged
to talk about their character and their book to their classmates. They shared
the things they loved about their book and why they liked the characters in the
book.
It was a fun day meant to
stimulate their imaginations and build their fascination and love of reading.
The Early Years children are just starting to be able to build understanding
and even create their own stories using the characters they have already
learned about.
We are always very proud of
how well these children use their imaginations and how they like to share with
each other.
