Position Description

We are seeking qualified and committed teachers to join the school in September 2025. Applicants must be fluent English speaking graduates who hold  UK recognized teaching credentials.

Person Specification

 

Qualifications and Education:

 

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education or in a relevant subject area.

Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Professional Experience:

Demonstrated experience in delivering the British National Curriculum or a similar curriculum.

 

Teaching and Curriculum Knowledge:

 

Strong pedagogical skills, with proven ability to plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons tailored to students' diverse needs.

Understanding of differentiation and inclusive practices to support a wide range of student abilities and learning styles.

Competence in utilizing educational technology to enhance learning, with experience in virtual or blended learning environments as a plus.

 

Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity:

 

Appreciation and respect for cultural diversity, with a commitment to fostering a culturally inclusive classroom environment.

Sensitivity to the cultural context of the Middle East, with a willingness to engage in and understand local customs and practices.

Adaptable and open-minded, with the ability to thrive in a new and diverse environment.

 

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Fluent English speaker, with any additional languages (particularly Arabic) as a plus.

 

Teamwork and Collaboration:

A team player with a collaborative approach, able to work effectively with other teachers, support staff, and leadership.

Willingness to engage in school activities beyond the classroom, supporting school events extracurricular programs, and community-building initiatives.

 

Commitment to Professional Development:

 

Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement, actively participating in training, professional development, and reflection on teaching practices.

Open to new ideas, feedback, and adapting to innovative educational approaches.

Safeguarding

 

Prospective candidates should submit the details of at least three previous employers as referees which must be their two most recent employers, covering a minimum of four years of employment, or all of their employment if the candidate has less than four years of experience.

If a candidate has only one previous employer, two references can be provided from the same employer.

 

All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced criminal background.

School Nurse

An accomplished / compassionate / dedicated professional nurse required for a wonderful student body. The successful canidate must have a Nursing license in Kuwait and preferably experience working in a school environment. 

Dedication to our student body and their welfare is the most significant position within a school environment and good communication skills in both English and Arabic are necessary. 


Early Years Teacher

About the Role:

We are looking for an 'Outstanding Wearly Years Teacher to join our established team at Kuwait National English School with immediate start

The successful candidate will have:

• Recognized UK Teaching Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of proven Teaching experience 

•    Native English Speaking

• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
