EYFS and KS1 "The Sound of Winter" Concert: A Resounding Success
Kuwait National English School's Early Years
Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 winter concert, "The Sound of
Winter," held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, was a spectacular success,
captivating a large and enthusiastic audience. The event showcased the
remarkable talents of our young pupils, who delivered outstanding performances
that left parents thoroughly impressed and delighted.
The concert was exceptionally well attended, with the
school theatre filled with proud parents, family members, and friends eager to
witness the festive celebration. From the moment the curtain rose, the
atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation. Our youngest performers, the
"little ones," demonstrated remarkable eloquence and stage presence,
enchanting the audience with their delightful renditions of various
winter-themed songs. Their confidence and clear articulation were particularly
noteworthy, a testament to their hard work and the dedication of our Music
teachers and teaching staff.
A particular highlight of the evening was the
performance by the Year 2 pupils, whose rendition of "Doh Ray Me" was
so exceptional that parents enthusiastically requested an encore. Their harmonious singing and engaging
choreography truly stood out, making it a memorable moment for everyone
present. The overwhelming positive feedback from parents underscored the
success of the concert, with many expressing their appreciation for the high
standard of performances and the evident enjoyment of the children. The
"Sound of Winter" concert not only provided a wonderful opportunity
for our pupils to showcase their artistic abilities but also fostered a strong
sense of community and festive spirit within the Kuwait National English School
family.
