AUM Robotex Competition
Three teams from Kuwait National
English School participated in the AUM Robotex competition on 22 November 2025.
Year 6, 7 and 8 students took part in 1kg and 3kg Sumo tournament. It was held
at American University in the Middle east (AUM).
It was a tough contest with more than 20
schools competing. For about 2 weeks students attended the after-school coding
sessions in the computing department at our school. After participating in three
training workshops leading up to the event, their hard work and dedication paid
off as they showcased their assembling and coding skills in robotics. We are
delighted to announce that our Year 8 students, Adam Ahmed and Abdallah Ibrahim
were triumphant in the first and second round.
Adam Ahmed and Abdallah also won the
judge’s choice award.
Year 6 students were participating in
such an event for the first time. They showed exceptional interest in facing
the coding challenge.
Congratulations to our talented
students for this remarkable achievement!
