Rememberance & Tolerance Day at KNES
Today, 11 November 2025, Upper Primary and Secondary students
held separately an assembly on Remembrance to honour and respect the people all
around the world who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and dignity of
others and to fight for their homeland.
Madame Chantal addressed the students to highlight the importance of the
honouring of all those who have sacrificed and the need to be tolerant of
people who are different to ourselves. A moment of silence was observed by all
students and staff. Upper Primary continued with an assembly on Tolerance as
tolerance and respect can lead only to a culture of peace, dialogue, and
cooperation in our world today. Following our mission statement and school
philosophy, it will be useless to build in our students only knowledge and
cognitive skills without instilling all the moral values in building humanity
and preserving our human family and earth home.
