Key Stage 2 Peace Day Assembly
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, our Key Stage 2 (KS2)
department held a meaningful PEACE Assembly, a timely event in observance of
Peace Month. The assembly served as a vibrant platform to educate and inspire
our young learners about the importance of peace, understanding, and conflict
resolution within our school community and the wider world. The PEACE Assembly
focused on several key themes, including Defining Peace, Historical Peacemakers,
Conflict Resolution Skills, and Acts of Kindness
The assembly featured a variety of engaging activities
designed to resonate with our KS2 students. These included presentations on the
concept of peace, discussions about historical figures who championed peace,
and interactive sessions exploring ways to promote harmony in daily life.
Students participated enthusiastically, sharing their own ideas on how to be
peacemakers and demonstrating a clear grasp of the core values being discussed.
The event underscored the school's commitment to fostering a positive and
inclusive environment where every child feels safe, respected, and empowered to
contribute to a peaceful society.
