What an exciting day it has been! The children arrived at school dressed up as their favourite characters from our brilliant phonics scheme, Monster Phonics. The classrooms were alive with colour, with lots of children choosing to wear bright reds and blues to represent Angry Red A and Cool Blue. Throughout the day, they took part in a range of phonics activities, including a scavenger hunt to find letters and objects hidden around the room. In some classes, the children even searched the school to spot the sneaky monsters hiding in different places! Everyone enjoyed playing phonics games, listening to Monster Phonics stories, and sharing their love of learning. In the afternoon, the whole school gathered in the theatre to sing songs together and proudly show off their costumes. It was a fantastic mix of fun, creativity, and learning that showed just how exciting phonics can be!
