International Day of Peace
At KNES, we celebrated the International Day of Peace on 21st
September with our EYFS and KS1 students through a day filled with learning,
reflection, and joyful activities. The children learned about the meaning of
peace and why it is important in our lives and communities. We held a special
assembly where students performed songs, poems, and short role-plays to share
messages of kindness, unity, and friendship with their peers. Throughout the
day, classes engaged in creative activities such as making peace-themed crafts,
drawing symbols of peace, and writing simple pledges about how they could
contribute to a more caring world. It was a wonderful opportunity for our young
learners to express their understanding of peace and celebrate together in a
spirit of harmony.
