National Geographic Presentation Earth Week

The National Geographic
Society visited us at KNES today and provided a program coordinated with our
Library and class teachers to explore Earth Day!
The children explored
educational material, poems, songs and a presentation from the National Geographic
society to celebrate Earth Day with a tree show and the start of Earth Week.
Earth Week is more important
to recognize and explore each and every year as we face a climate crisis. Our
students are inheriting a planet in need of protections and innovations to save
it. Our youngest children need to understand the need for a supportive coexistence
with our planet and environment.
