Iftar Gathering in Secondary
On a memorable evening during the Holy month of Ramadan, our
school hosted a delightful Iftar Dinner, organized by our dedicated Head boy
and Head Girl. The event was attended by secondary students and teachers,
fostering a sense of community and togetherness.
Attendees embraced the spirit of the occasion by wearing
traditional Arabic attire which added a vibrant cultural flair to the night.
The culinary spread was a harmonious blend of traditional and modern flavors,
featuring a variety of delectable dishes. From hearty traditional foods to an
array of pastas, the menu catered to every palate. The highlight of the feast
was Umm Ali, a classic Arabic bread pudding, which provided a perfect sweet
conclusion to the meal.
Beyond the amazing food, the evening was enriched by engaging
activities. Traditional games brought a sense of nostalgia and cultural pride,
while the inclusion of a PlayStation football game added a modern twist,
appealing to our football-crazed students. The seamless blend of tradition and
modernity reflects the essence of our diverse school community.
The Iftar Dinner was a special event that offered students
and teachers an opportunity to bond, celebrate, and reflect on the values of
togetherness and gratitude that Ramadan inspires. It was an evening filled with
joy, cultural appreciation, and shared memories that will be cherished for
years to come.
