Year 6 & 7 STEM Challenge
On 28th January, students from Year 6 and 7 all took part in
an exciting STEM challenge, where they were tasked with designing a brand-new
attraction for Thorpe Park, the famous theme park in London. The challenge
encouraged students to think creatively and apply their knowledge of science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics to develop innovative ride concepts.
Throughout the day, we witnessed impressive teamwork,
problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness as students presented their ideas.
From high-speed roller coasters to interactive zoo experiences, each design
showcased a unique vision for the future of theme park attractions. The level
of detail and creativity in their models and presentations was truly inspiring.
This challenge not only allowed students to explore
real-world applications of STEM but also highlighted their ability to think
outside the box. Well done to all the participants for their fantastic
contributions!
