Key Stage 2 trip to the Kuwait Scientific Center
KS 2 students from Kuwait National English
School recently embarked on an exciting educational trip to the Scientific
Centre Aquarium and Discovery Place. This visit was perfectly aligned with
their current curriculum topics, providing a hands-on learning experience that
complemented their studies.
The primary objective of this trip was to enhance
students’ understanding of marine life and environmental science. By visiting
the aquarium and discovery center, students were able to observe various
aquatic species and learn about their habitats, behaviors, and conservation
efforts. This aligns with their studies in science, where they explore
ecosystems and biodiversity. Students encountered a diverse range of marine
organisms including fish, corals, and other sea creatures. The Discovery Place
offered additional educational opportunities through hands-on activities that
encouraged exploration and inquiry.
Our students had a fantastic day filled with fun
activities, opportunities to bond with their peers, and valuable insights into
marine life and science. The trip not only enhanced their understanding of the
subjects but also fostered teamwork and camaraderie among classmates.
