As an annual tradition, Kuwait National English School held an assembly for the observance of Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day is observed each year on November 11^th. The day was traditionally established to remember and give thanks to the fallen soldiers of World War One (The Great War). (1914-1918). Remembering the sacrifice of millions of young men so that the world could live free.

Remembrance Day has evolved overtime and it has taken on meaning to others as a time to reflect on the sacrifices of everyone who have given up their lives in conflicts around the world (both soldiers and civilians). It is a time of reflection and awareness that freedom comes at a terrible price and no one should forget the sacrifice given for them.
