University Fair at KNES: A Gateway to Future Opportunities
The World is Your Oyster!
On Wednesday, 9 October, our school was abuzz with
excitement as students from grades 10-12 welcomed representatives from numerous
prestigious universities. Esteemed institutions such as the University of
Massachusetts, Iowa State University, Temple University, the University of
Arizona, Buffalo University, Michigan State University, KOC University and
Sabanci University in Istanbul, came to share insights into their diverse
programs and opportunities.
Among the universities present, Buffalo University
stood out as a particularly popular choice for our students. Its favourable
admission requirements, which recognize certain A-level subjects for credits,
have made it an attractive option for those looking to further their education
in the United States. Moreover, Buffalo University offers a variety of
impressive scholarship programs, making it an accessible choice for students
seeking financial support while pursuing their academic goals.
Turkish universities, particularly KOC University and
Sabancı University, also captivated considerable interest. With their
innovative curricula and dynamic campus environments, these institutions offer
an enriching educational experience, attracting students eager to immerse
themselves in a familiar, culturally vibrant setting.
Throughout the event, students engaged in meaningful
conversations with university representatives, gaining valuable insights into
program offerings, application processes, and scholarship opportunities. The
fair provided a unique platform for students to envision their futures and
consider the wide array of possibilities that lie ahead.
KNES is truly thrilled that we were able to host these
esteemed guests today. As our students absorb the insights shared during the
fair, they are empowered to explore the vast range opportunities that lie
ahead. The diverse range of universities showcased today has certainly sparked
their curiosity and ambition.
This event has truly highlighted that the world is, in fact, their oyster - it
is brimming with possibilities for growth and discovery!
