World Animail Day
World Animal Day unites the animal welfare movement,
mobilising it into a global force to make the world a better place for all
animals. Each one of us can make a difference – together we make change! Be
part of something special.
On October 3rd, EYFS,
KS1 and SEN students joyfully celebrated World Animal Day with a vibrant array
of activities designed to ignite their love for animals. The day kicked off
with an visit from a local Zoo exhibit with exciting live bird show, where the
students were captivated by the colorful feathers and impressive skills of the
birds. Later, they had the unique opportunity to see and even touch a variety
of live animals, including a gentle llama, a playful meerkat, fluffy rabbits,
and curious iguanas. This hands-on experience not only filled the children with
wonder and laughter but also taught them valuable lessons about respecting and
caring for all living creatures. Their enthusiasm was fantastic, making it a memorable
day of learning and fun that fostered a deeper connection to the animal
kingdom.
