UNIFROG, Job Shadow, Painting Contest, University visits, Field trip, September Report & Secondary Parental Meeting October 08 & October 09, 2024 (6:30 pm – 8:30 pm)

Dear Secondary Parent(s)/Guardian(s):

It has been an amazingly busy first term with a great deal of learning, activities and events.

Activities/Events:

v UNIFROG presentation: Wednesday September 18, 2024 (12:00 – 1:00).

The platform of UNIFROG was launched to our Year 9 students. During the presentation session, our students were given an overview of the UNIFROG platform and they had the opportunity to log in and complete activities directly on the platform. The form Tutors of Year 9 (9A: Ms. Farhat & 9B: Ms. Beth) will further assist our students in using the program.

v Job Shadow:

-         Innovation Camp (INJAZ): Monday October 14, 2024 (8:30 – 12:00).

STC will organise an Innovation Camp in our school theatre. The innovation camp involves KNES students in finding innovative solutions to corporate problem(s).

-         Entrepreneurship Master Class (EMC) (INJAZ). Thursday November 07, 2024. (8:30 – 12:00).

 STC will provide an Entrepreneurship Master Class to our students. Students will be taught the process of Business start-up and finding solutions to satisfying needs and wants of customers.

v Art & Design:

o   Paining contest: Our students are busy preparing for the Al Mulla Group Calendar Painting Contest which will take place on Friday October 25, 2024.

o   COBIS Art Competition (October 07 – November 06, 2024): Students of KNES have been invited to submit entries to the COBIS Art Competition reflecting the theme “Magical Moments”.

v University visit:

-         Nine Universities from abroad (US, Spain & Turkey) will visit KNES on Wednesday October 09, 2024 (10:00 – 11:00).  Representatives from these institutions will talk to our students.

-         Q8 EDUEX International Higher Education Expo. Thursday October 17, 2024 (9:00 – 12:30).

 Our Year 10, 11 & 12 will be attending this university fair/expo in Mishref.

v Educational Field Trip to the National Geography Ultimate Explorer: October 15, 2024 (8:30 – 1:30). Our Year 7 students will be going on a field trip to the National Geography Ultimate Explorer.

v Academic Reports - September Monthly Report:

Secondary September Monthly reports will be sent to students/Parents during the first week of October.

v Secondary Parent Teacher Meeting: (October 08 & October 09, 2024) (6:30 pm – 8:30 pm):

We are pleased to invite you to our secondary Parent Teacher Meetings scheduled for

Tuesday October 08, 2024 and Wednesday October 09, 2024 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in our school theatre. We look forward to meeting you in school.
