EYFS trip to Aqua Adventure Safari
This week, our EYFS classes embarked on a school trip to Aqua
Kids Safari Adventure. The students were very excited to learn about animals
from four different areas of our amazing world. Their journey began in the
heart of the desert, where they met resilient inhabitants like the meerkats,
camouflaged reptiles, and charming hedgehogs. With gentle guidance from the
safari staff, the children delighted in the opportunity to pet the soft fur of
a baby chinchilla and feel the cool scales of a slithering lizard.
Venturing deeper into the rainforest section, the children
marveled at the kaleidoscope of colors as tropical birds flitted overhead. In
this lush paradise, they had the chance to hold a friendly bird on their
shoulders or their head and the opportunity to feed sweet potatoes to sloths
and lemurs.
Transitioning to the ocean area, the children were mesmerized
by the serene beauty of underwater life. Giant tanks housed an array of marine
wonders where they watched majestic sea turtles paddling lazily. Some children
even had the rare opportunity to observe colorful starfish up close and
personal, and feed the fish.
As the day ended, the children returned to school with hearts
full of memories and a newfound appreciation for the diverse inhabitants of our
planet. The Aqua Safari Adventure had not only provided an unforgettable
experience but also ignited a passion for conservation and a deeper
understanding of the interconnectedness of all living things.
