Young Ambassador Climate Diplomacy Program, supported by the Embassies of Canada and the UK
I am pleased to inform you that the application of Rewaa Al
Hadad (Year 10) for the "Young Ambassador" initiative has been
successful! Her enthusiasm for climate action demonstrated commitment to making
a positive impact have made her a standout candidate, and the British Embassy
is welcoming her to this prestigious program.
The Young Ambassador Climate Diplomacy Program, supported by
the Embassies of Canada and the UK, as well as the United Nations Resident
Coordinator's Office, is designed to empower young leaders with firsthand
experience in climate diplomacy. Rewaa will have the opportunity to develop
leadership skills, gain confidence, and collaborate with like-minded
individuals in championing climate action.
As a participant, Rewaa (Y10) will engage in regular learning
and networking activities covering various climate-related themes, including
climate impacts, mitigation, adaptation, and climate finance. Additionally,
Rewaa will be matched with a participating embassy and international
organization for mentoring sessions and other networking and learning
opportunities throughout the program.
Rewaa's involvement in this initiative will not only
contribute to her personal growth but will also play a crucial role in
fostering a sustainable, climate-resilient future in Kuwait and beyond.
Please congratulate Rewaa on being selected as a Young Ambassador and to embark on this transformative journey.
