International Earth Day 2023
The Early Years children celebrated International Earth Day on Thursday April 20th. It is never too early to learn
about the environment and the importance of protecting it.
One of the key components of the
KNES Mission Statement is being Global Citizens responsible for protecting our
Earth Home. As our students grow, the environment and Global Climate Change
will become more important, and these children are our hope for the future!
The children spent the day
talking about different aspects of the environment, the threats it faces and
how we can have an positive impact. They also started a science lesson on planting seeds
and will watch them grow over the next few weeks.
The children had a very fun day
and showed an unusual understanding of how their lives can impact our Earth
Home!
