Book / Literacy Week March 6th-10th 2022

Literacy – Book week:
The School librarian worked with the whole school to promote
love of reading this week. Competitions were held in both English and Arabic
reading. There were many other activities as well such as buddy reading between
year groups.
It was great to see so many of our students involved in the
Celebration of Book week. The English Department and the librarian did a
wonderful job in this successful event. Representatives from the ministry of
Education attended the event and were impressed with our students advanced
literacy skills.
The week ended by Early Years & Primary students attending school
dressed as their favourite book character and sharing with their classmates
their favourite books.
