Message from the Governing Body of KNES
Dearest
parents and dedicated friends of KNES
The new academic year 2021/22 has just started and we do hope it
will be a bright shiny successful one for each one of us and for all the
children and especially a very healthy one too!!It is important for children to
go back to normality like all children around the world and therefore, we are
glad to go back to full time face to face teaching and learning in our school
with specific measures for the moment.
I am writing this short letter to inform you that after more than
Thirty Years, I have been the school director and Head of the School, leading
our school successfully through so many accreditations that it is difficult to
find in any school, such as British Schools of the Middle East (BSME), British
Schools Overseas (BSO), recognized by the Department of Education in UK,
Council of International Schools (CIS) and finally by New England Association
of Schools (NEASC).
I have reached an advanced age and have decided to withdraw myself
from a front seat position and take a back seat as a Co-Chair of the governing
body. My dedicated and long serving members of staff will take the wheel with
Ms. Gaythree being the Academic Director in charge of the teaching and learning
from early years to secondary, assisted by coordinators per Key stage and per
subject: Ms. Yara for EYFS, Ms. Autumn for Primary in KS One (year one-year
two) Ms. Lindsay and Mr. Cyril in KS Two (year 3 to year 6) and in
Secondary head of subject Mr. Michael, Mr. Chacko and Mr. Guillaume. Mr. Bernie
will take on the role of Administrative Director, responsible for Human
Resources, Safety and Safeguarding throughout the school. Dr. Raouf will
take on the role of Assistant School Director but still in charge of examining
boards from UK. Mr. Meshari will take my role as School Director and Mr. Yousef
will continue as Head of SEN.
This
does not mean I will be away from school, I will continue to ensure the
quality of education and services we are offering as well as the efficiency in Health,
Safety and wellbeing for all and this, until my last breath …!
May I wish you all success happiness and good health and
once again accept my deepest gratitude for supporting and trusting me and all
the ones in the school as well as my warmest regards
Madame
Chantal Al Gharabally
Co-Chair
of the Governing Body
