Dear KNES Parents and Students                                                                                                 

Welcome to the new academic year 2021-2022. We trust that you have had a wonderful summer break and we look forward to welcoming you back to school as we have missed seeing you for more than a year.

Following the directive of the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health of Kuwait, we are pleased to inform you of the following:

Ø School will be open as from 1^st September 2021.

Ø 1^st and 2^nd September 2021, parents will come in to collect logins and passwords for online learning.

Ø SEN and Pre-School will commence in-class full time teaching and learning on 5^th September 2021 at 7:30am.

Ø Online teaching and learning will take place from Sunday 5^th September 2021, till Thursday 23^rd September 2021 for Early Years, Primary and Secondary.

Ø From 26^th September 2021 onwards in-class full time teaching, and learning will commence for Early Years, Primary and Secondary pupils.

Precautionary measures:

Ø All children over the age of 12 years, if already vaccinated with one or both shots of the vaccine, must bring in printed vaccination certificates from the 1^st  of September 2021 onwards. Printed copies of certificates are to be handed in to the school administration.

Ø Students who are not vaccinated must produce a negative PCR test result every Sunday of the week.

Ø It is mandatory for all students to wear masks during the school day.

Ø The school will be following Ministry guidelines for safety, social distancing, sanitization, and regular symptom checks.

At KNES we are fully committed to provide 100 percent in class teaching and learning with 20 students per class. The school has decided not to pursue hybrid learning; therefore, places are limited as we can only accommodate 20 per class as per Ministry Regulations.
