Safe Return to School in September
Getting Ready
for September
Kuwait National English School
is in full swing in its preparations for pupils to return to school in September.
Two pieces of good news in the past couple of weeks is the Governments decision
to return to a relative normal. They have approved the return to in class
learning in September and have announced the reopening of the Airport on July 1st.
We are working with and cooperating
with Ministry of Education for all precautions and measures to be taken for a
safe return to school. KNES has already spent a great deal of time and effort
to ensure that the school was ready for the return of students as soon as the Government
gave approval. After a recent visit from the Ministry, we were very encouraged
by the feedback on our preparations.
The main aspects of preparation
is to ensure deep cleaning is performed regularly, social distancing is the
standard practice and efficient action is taken immediately whenever incidents
occur. The class sizes will be reduced to ensure social distancing and
therefore spaces for September are limited to allowed capacity. Some year groups
are already at capacity so please ensure your child is registered for September
2021.
We will keep parents informed
as time goes forward and what responsibilities are necessary from the school,
students and parents.
In the meantime lets be thankful
for being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and the most important
aspect of life at the moment which is children returning to school!
