Announcement of Return to School September 2021
Good Morning Parents.
Health Minister Sheikh Dr Basel Al-Sabah yesterday (Monday March 15th 2021), said life in Kuwait will go back to normal and all schools will reopen in September 2021!
This announcement is the first tangible news from the Kuwait Government that can give us all hope since March 1st, 2020 (more than 1 year ago) when we were suddenly closed without warning and had to quickly adapt to online learning.
Parents should be very proud of themselves for keeping your children learning online and supporting their learning. The transition back to regular school life and the expectations will be very smooth! We know that our parents are aware of this fact as they have done exceptionally well and although we see children from around the country who are ill prepared to return to school, We are relieved to say that our children will not face the same struggles. I know that many of our parents have compared schools and children’s progress through this past year and I know for a fact that our children have surpassed every school and every expectation!
Now the preparation can begin in earnest. Parents, please remember that Registration is the key to ensuring that the school is prepared with appropriate staff, resources and the ability to accommodate all our students. The last thing we want at this point is not to be able to offer a seat to our students because of late registration.
We look forward to seeing all our children back at KNES and for them to continue to be the brightest and most well-adjusted children in Kuwait!
