Holiday Wishes from the School Director
Dear parents
Tomorrow
will be the last day of this first term working online under these special
circumstances. Children will be away from the screen until the 5th
January 2021 and I hope they can relax during that time. I encourage you to
tell your child who has external examinations from the UK to continue studying
as time flies and it will soon be May and June, the time for external
examinations.
The teachers
and all staff have shown full commitment and have worked
tirelessly during this term, but this
would not have been possible without your support and I am grateful for that.
Your children have also worked very hard, fully engaged, they have been
incredible, and I am very proud of them.
My
last letter informed you about the reports and parent/teacher conferences
online, which will give you further opportunities to discuss the progress of
your child/ren. I do hope you take advantage of the home links you receive
weekly on the school portal, each Thursday, outlining what will be covered in
all subjects during the following week as well as rewards, attendance, house
points and news of that week. You have received also through the same way all the measures we have taken since August 2020 to ensure the health
and safety of our KNES community to show you that we are ready for any option that the Ministry
will take. We know through the survey we sent that most of the students
are looking forward
to coming back to school and to study in a normal school
environment, safe, healthy and secure.
On behalf
of all the staff members
and the chairman
and myself, I would like to wish all of you a better 2021 year, bright, safe, and healthy. We
know that 2020 has been an abnormal and difficult year for all of us, but we
have been standing all together and managed to overcome and maintain quality of
education for your children. We can ensure you that this will continue. Anyhow,
it seems that we are almost at the end of the
tunnel and we can see the light in front of us.
Kindest
regards to all of you. Happy holidays to all and may I be allowed to wish our
Christian Community a Merry Christmas.
