Letter from the Head of Secondary
Dear secondary Parents/Carers,
Re: End of Year 2020 message
As the year is winding down and we draw near to the end of the first term, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support during this challenging pandemic time. I hope you are looking forward to the holiday which can be a wonderful time spent with family and friends, reflecting on the year that has gone by. In fact, in 2020 all of us are grieving in one or more ways. In other words, this holiday season is a time fraught with emotion, grief, and loss. Whether you have been drastically affected by the pandemic, or your life has reached a “new normal”, chances are the holidays are going to feel a little different this year.
Kuwait National English School students registered for Unifrog.
Unifrog is a one stop shop where students can easily explore their interests, then find and successfully apply for their next best step after Secondary school. Unifrog will help students to explore their key interests, discover the courses they can study or enrol for, to achieve their future career goals, and guide them through the application process and requirements to various universities worldwide. The following KNES staff are involved in the programme: Mr. Michael, Ms. Gabriella, Mr. Chacko, Dr. Raouf and Mr. Meshari. The Launch of Unifrog for Kuwait National English School students (Year 9 – 12) will take place on January 12, 2021 at 11:00 am.

{December 01 – 16, 2020} – First Term Assessment/Examinations/Mock examinations.
{December 17, 2020 to January 04, 2021} — Holiday
{January 05, 2021} — First day of Second term
{January 07, 2021} – Reports to students/parents
{January 12, 2021} – Unifrog KNES Student Launch (Year 9, 10, 11 & 12)
{January 06 – 21, 2020} – Registration for External Examinations from the United Kingdom
{January 18 - 20, 2021} – Online Parental Meetings
{Sunday February 21 - 25, 2021} – National Day holiday
{Sunday March 28, 2021 to Thursday April 01, 2021} – Spring holiday
