KNES School Remembrance Day Activity

Remembrance Day is observed on the 11^th November every year and at Kuwait National English School this annual event is always highlighted in many ways like a Remembrance assembly, observing 1 minute of silence on the 11^th day of the 11^th month, and by the sale of poppies as well. Our students also visit the British Embassy every year. This important day is remembered with gratitude and at Kuwait National English School we take pride in honouring everyone who were victims of war and who were affected by the war.

Remembrance Day 2020 feels much different than usual. This year it is different because of the pandemic. Students are not allowed to gather in groups at school, but the spirit of Remembrance Day should never be forgotten. We must always remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and whom we will never forget.
