At Kuwait National English School, the student council are greatly involved in a wide range of activities that create awareness and understanding of key issues that the world is faced with. On the occasion of the United Nations designation of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month the Students held a Breast cancer awareness day on 17^th October 2023, in order to bring to the forefront, the issue of breast cancer. It was a pink day at KNES secondary department as all students wore pink. A bake sale was also part of the day.  A photo booth was set up and students were seen capturing memories in front of the booth with staff and students actively involved. The student members organized the event and ensured it went well, taking responsibility and working as a team. Posters were displayed around the school and in general it once again reflected the school’s philosophy of creating awareness and making global citizens of our students. Good work and well done to all members of the student council.
