Pupils from KS1 and KS2 at Kuwait National English School participated in a Mission Statement Assembly on Sunday, 13 October 2019. Through various activities such as role-play, songs, speeches, dialogue, poems etc. pupils portrayed and conveyed to the audience what the Mission Statement meant to them using key words and phrases through which our Mission Statement is lived out in school. All activities were fun and inspirational focusing on pupils being unique and fantastic leaders, respect for others and themselves, having fun learning through new experiences, listening to each other, learning from our mistakes, trust, tolerance, integrity, being kind, hard-working and positive team members. Another area of focus was being part of one human family and looking after our earth. At Kuwait National English School, children are made aware from an early age that our Mother Earth is fragile and that we need to look after what we have and practice sustainable living.
