Kuwait National English School is a British International School, providing the British Curriculum from KG through to IAL / IAS Levels.  KNES is also the most Accredited school in Kuwait, meaning it has the most International recognition. Kuwait National English School also has many official and unofficial memberships and associations which are continually analysed in order to ensure the best practice for our community of learners.

Accreditation is a process where an independent body examines our institution as a whole including the administration, quality of teaching and learning, Personal Social development, Health and Welfare, the physical accommodations, communication, policies and procedures as well as leadership and management of the school. Accreditation is provided after a rigorous inspection and maintained by term specific reaccreditation inspections.

Accreditation from various bodies represent recognition of the school dependent on the focus of the Accreditation.

Membership with certain bodies is also essential to the school’s continuous development. Through membership the school commits itself to the values and mission of the particular organization in line with its own Mission. This often leads to the continual self-assessment and reevaluation to ensure best practices.

Accreditations

British School Overseas

British School Overseas

British Schools Overseas” (BSOs) are schools that have been inspected under the DfE-endorsed system developed for the purpose and which is quality assured by Ofsted. The framework is based on the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) system, used to inspect the vast majority of UK-based independent schools, but modified to meet the context of schools operating under different legal and educational jurisdictions. Judgments under these systems are comparable and so BSO schools rated, for example, as “Good” are at a comparable standard to UK-independent schools with the same grading.

Accreditation with BSO helps ensure that the children at Kuwait National English School receive an education equivalent their counterparts in the United Kingdom.  As a BSO school, Kuwait National English School is also registered with the Department of Education for the United Kingdom.Click here to view report
