We are pleased to announce that a specialist drama teacher from the UK, has been recruited for next academic year 2017/18. Drama is part of the British Curriculum and of the literacy skills leading for students having drama lesson from Year 9 to taking IGCSE drama in Year 11. Drama lessons will build self-confidence, English skills, oratory skills as well as artistic skills.
I strongly encourage pupils currently in Year 5 to Year 8 to participate in the auditions which will take place next Saturday 20 of May from 9:00am to 1:00pm in school. Pupils will have to demonstrate their ability to perform in front of an audience and to speak clearly in English. Each pupil interested to take part in the production “Oliver Twist” which will be performed next year at the end of First term should be prepared to pass a proper audition conducted by the Drama teacher.
They should be ready either to sing a song of their choice, or to read poetry of their choice, or to read a piece of literature involving acting.
Looking forward to have many pupils ready to show their skills and talent at KNES.
