Secondary Sports Day

On Wednesday the 8th of March KNES held their sports day for all secondary students from year 7 through to year 12. The day saw the red team (Cambridge) take on the blue team (Oxford) in which students participated in a number of events including football, basketball, handball, swimming and athletics.  There was also the opportunity to break the record on the KNES records board for individuals who wanted to beat the record in things such as squats, press ups, sit ups and long jump.

The attitude and effort from everyone involved in the day was remarkable, it was a fun filled day which was full of smiles and enjoyment. Students and teachers gave it their all which lead to a closely fought contest between the two teams, seeing the lead change hands on several occasions throughout the day. In the end the red team secured a narrow victory winning by five points which saw them take the trophy and gold medals home.

The KNES P.E. department would like to thank everyone involved for their tremendous efforts which made for a hugely successful sports day.
