KNES Swimming Team Champions

The KNES swimming team attended a gala hosted by the American United School.  Their confidence and determination shone threw at this event resulting in a haul of medals.  The team secured 1st place overall with a strong team of 20 students that have been committed to training this year.  Kareem Tamer took first place in the backstroke and relay, 2nd in front crawl. Mohammed Abdulla took 1st place in the frontcrawl and the  relay and 2nd place in backstroke.  The Year 3 boys, George Fadi, Abdullah Aboukhalil, Ali Safoui and Omar El Ayouty came 3rd in the relay race and Ali Safoui took 1st place for front crawl. Our Year 4 &5 girls secured 3rd place in the relay with the team comprising of Laila Farag, Sarah Meidani, Shahd El Yammany and Sarah Yousef Al Mansour. Our gifted and talented year 2 swimmers exceeded our expectations and Laila Abdullah secured 3 gold medals in front crawl, backstroke and the relay, Habiba Ragab took 3rd place in the backstroke and 1st place in the relay. Aseel Sadeek from Year 3 took 3rd place in front crawl, 2nd place in backstroke and 1st place in the relay along with Tia Hassaballah. Well done to all the Kuwait National English School Swimmers and their Teachers
