Kuwait National English School celebrated Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day is observed on the 11th November every year and at Kuwait National English School this annual event is highlighted in many ways like a Remembrance assembly, observing 2 minutes of silence on the 11th day of the 11th month, and by the sale of poppies as well. Our students also visit the British Embassy every year. This year the student team was headed by the student council members. The student delegation met with Rich Vesey, The Assistant Defense Attaché at the British Embassy. Students viewed a video of the history behind Remembrance Day and the importance of the Poppy symbol. The students were able to answer many questions that were thrown at them during the course of the presentation and they were rewarded too.
This important day is remembered with gratitude and at Kuwait National English School we take pride in honoring everyone who were victims of war and who were affected by the war.
