British Ambassador to Kuwait visits Kuwait National English School for opening ceremony of new site
Mr Michael Davenport MBE, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Kuwait joined Kuwait National English School on 14th October 2018 for the opening ceremony of the new school premises, and officially cut the ribbon of the new school site. Madame Chantal Al Gharabally - School Director joined the Ambassador on his tour around the school; senior management and the students from Student Council were also present to guide and inform the Ambassador on developments at Kuwait National English School.
After a year of construction, Kuwait National English School is proud to open the doors of its new building which will facilitate students with wide additional space, comfort and consequently better learning. The very spacious and bright new site is fully equipped with new furniture, equipment to enrich education. We also have a new ICT infrastructure which will enhance and extend learning. Music rooms have also been enhanced with brand new instruments and learning space as well as a huge drama place.
Mr Michael Davenport MBE spent a few hours visiting the whole school premises, and was highly impressed with the new site, the enthusiasm of the teachers and students of KNES whom the ambassador referred to as ‘keen leaners’.
