Kuwait National English School as part of the charity drive hosted the annual Talent Show on the 15th of March 2018. The KNES student body organized the event which attracted a great pool of talent from all over Kuwait. The event turned out to be a night of music and dance as participants from both junior and senior sections turned the event in to a splendid display of talent and skill. In the process we were able to create an awareness to issues related to charitable causes. The event was held in the newly renovated Al Farabi school theatre which provided a grand venue for such an event.
The junior trophy was won by Fouz of year 5 while Naya walked away with top honours in the senior event. The highlight of the evening was some great rendition by eventual winner Naya and our own home grown talent Aivee Manzo, who scooped up the runners-up trophy. The show witnessed top-notch anchoring by Ibrahim, Rawan, Bader, Qais, Retaj and Lea Joe who spiced up the evening with their witty one-liners and brilliant takes on the participants. Special mention must be made of the Year 12 student body and specially Ali Al Najjar (Yr 12) who organized the event and did a splendid job of it. The judging panel was headed by our Head of Music department who gave regular inputs to participants on their performances.
Our Director Madame Chantal Al Gharabally attended the event and was full of praise for the way the show was organized and had a word of praise for all the participants. The Director gave away the prizes at the end of the show. Prizes were sponsored by Elite Holidays and Slim Chickens.
Next year we hope to make it a bigger event and look forward to seeing some of the best talent in Kuwait taking part.
