Year 3 Production Jack and the Beanstalk

Wednesday, February 7, 2018

Last night, 7th February 2018, parents, carers, members of the community and staff of Kuwait National English School enjoyed once again a brilliant performance of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. The performance, based on one of Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes, involved all pupils from Year 3 with costumes made by parents and teaching assistants, and the clever use of scenery and props, devised by our talented assistants and staff. Madame Chantal Al Gharabally, the school director stated that music and drama continue to be at the heart of Kuwait National English School, and the standard of performance reflected the importance given to the arts at our school. For many children, this is their special time to shine, and it’s that which gives them the confidence to go on and achieve in many other areas of life. In keeping with these sentiments every effort is being made by the school to improve the performing arts and this will be catered for with state of the art features in the school’s new extension building. We heartily thank our hard working and talented music teacher, pupils and the staff for their efforts in once again producing such an outstanding performance.
